Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the emotional bonding by tying a holy thread around the wrist. Rakhi which means ‘a bond of protection is prepared by Suryodans and tied on the friends’ wrist to explain them the important of social bonding.

Independence Day

Independence Day is celebrated in our school to pay homage to the freedom fighters who fought for freedom, made sacrifices were jailed. That suffering and struggle gave us the deep value of freedom and independence. A colourful and vibrant programme is organised at our school campus. We have the urge to celebrate such programme to encourage and motivate our students.

Teachers’ Day Celebration

Teachers’ Day celebration started with a decent note with the garlanding of portrait of Dr S Radhakrishnan the scholar- philosopher and President. The children of the school organizes a very wonderful and colorful programme as a token of love and appreciation. Children prepare beautiful greeting cards.

Children’s Day Celebration

Children’s day celebration is indeed an unforgettable day. The teachers set up a small programme to show their love and affection for the children. At Suryodaya, other than imparting education, understanding the child psychology and making their life fill with happiness is more important. Apart from nurturing their dreams, we help students achieve their dreams, which we try to make them understand with the help of a small skit.

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony of Suryodaya School is celebrated with great enthusiasm on 26th of January every year. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the new Prefectorial Board is formed every year.
